Overall, most employees wanted to maintain the number of hours they worked, with two-thirds (64%) reporting a preference to maintain the number of hours they currently worked (Table 6.6).
When compared to full-time employees, a greater proportion of employees working part-time reported a preference to work more hours (27% and 39% respectively).
Almost half (46%) of casual employees indicated they would prefer to work more hours (for more income).
